The Pride Center is celebrating its EIGHTH birthday this February, and it’s about to be a BLOW OUT! Join us on February 22 from 5pm – 7pm in the I-House Great Room as we celebrate eight years of community, advocacy, and education! All are welcome to attend–we’ll have cake, party games, and lots of fun! Don’t forget your VolCard to swipe in! It is not required but highly encouraged.

LGBTQ Health Symposium: Call for Proposals!

Are you interested in/working with gender and sexuality-related health topics? Consider submitting to your work to the upcoming LGBTQ Health Equity in Appalachia research symposium! Proposal topics may include, but are not limited to areas of research as they intersect with LGBTQ health and health equity, such as public health, wellness, and healthcare; intersectionality theory, research, or practice; community organizing and activism; history, art, music, or literature; science and technology; performance, media, or popular culture; and others! Submit abstracts of 500 words or less to tiny.utk.edu/LGBTQHealthResearch by the end of February, and save the date for the symposium on Friday, April 6!
