In her role, Bonnie oversees the Center and oversees student support services, programming, and educational outreach efforts by the department. She is an alum of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Southern California.

Will Martinez
Graduate Assistant

Will is currently working towards his MS in College Student Personnel. Born and raised in Knoxville, Will moved to Atlanta in 2007. In 2018, Will graduated from Emory University with a BA in Anthropology and Sociology. While at Emory, Will researched sexual and gender minority health as it relates to social media activism in the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Will is currently completing a thesis on interpersonal violence survivor advocacy for those with historically underserved identities using Critical Race Theory, narrative inquiry, and Critical Trauma Studies. Will has a passion for building relationships, advocating for students, and social justice and inclusion initiatives. Catch him drinking Capybara coffee or playing with his cats, Pablo and Chowder.
